Story Summary:

Ever since he was first growing up, it was clear Wavoro was different from most others. Not just for his incredibly strong clairvoyant powers. He has autism. Wavoro is very socially awkward and has strange mannerisms and habits. He sometimes speaks loudly and stutters quite a bit. This and his unusual actions and behavior made it hard for him to make friends growing up. His family was always trying their best to help him learn to behave and interact with others better. The improvements were slow, but present.

When Wavoro was 12 years old, he was targeted by bullies at his school. One day, they tormented him by flashing lights in his eyes with toy lasers. Instead of helping him, the teacher punished him for yelling and flailing around. Wavoro sat bawling in the hallway, when a marineman with bright green skin and red eyes approached him.

It was Finross. When Wavoro looked him in the eyes, he immediately had a vision of Finross's daydreams of living freely in the ocean. Finross asked him what was wrong, puzzled this strange boy suddenly stopped crying. Wavoro then said Finross was "quite a dreamy guy." Finross was utterly confused at first, but didn't make any assumptions and instead asked what he meant. Wavoro described his vision, and Finross was deeply amazed. He then asked why he was crying in the hallway, and Wavoro explained. Finross was outraged, believing those bullies were the ones who should've been sent out here. The two of them then had a long, personal conversation. This was the first time a person was patient enough to listen to Wavoro despite his social awkwardness. Needless to say, he really took a liking to Finross. Over time, they spoke to each other more and more, and Finross continued to be patient with him.

Eventually, after Finross met Minolly, he told she and Wavoro of his ultimate dream of freeing the marineman from the Lapis Kingdom's tyranny. Not having any purpose in life, Wavoro agreed to help Finross fulfill his valiant dream. Wavoro's clairvoyant powers became extremely useful. Especially when predicting the ocean's weather. From this, Wavoro developed a dream of being a weather forecaster, thus granting him his star name, "The Forecaster."

Powers and Abilities:

Wavoro's ice water element is about average in strength and skill. It can cause cuts and bruises much like most others who wield it. He can do all of the basic attacks such as orbs, torpedo dashes, and sprays. He cannot summon whirlpools alone and needs help from others to do it.

Though Wavoro's physical strength is not very powerful, he more than makes up for it with his maneuverability. He is very quick and can easily dodge most attacks. He also is very knowledgeable in weak spots on a person's body and can knock out opponents with debilitating blows to the stomach, face, and neck.

Above all, Wavoro's greatest strength is his incredibly strong clairvoyance. It is so powerful he can read his opponent's moves and anticipate their attacks with ease. He can also take a psychological advantage in battle. By mirroring his opponent's movements and words, he angers them and leaves them susceptible to more skilled attacks and dodges. Wavoro enjoys toying with his opponents and does it every chance he can.

Personality:

Wavoro is, understandably, quite awkward. His fidgeting, stuttering, and loud bursts of tone along with his choices of words make him an unusual person. He's improved a lot over the years, though, and his behavior is not intolerable or challenging.

Wavoro doesn't take being bullied or impatience very well. Although it is rare now, whenever he is insulted or mistreated by others he tends to get very upset. To avoid this, he tends to stay close to those who understand and care about him.

Despite being autistic, Wavoro is not the least bit shy or timid. He's always willing to speak up and have a good conversation with his friends and family. He also doesn't mind being the center of attention. Wavoro likes people pay attention to him.

Facts:

Wavoro is a master at nearly every board game you can find.

Many believe the cause of Wavoro's strange behavior and social awkwardness is because he has autism. This has not been officially confirmed, though.
